A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the University of Cape Coast and the Ghana Fire Service (GNFS) to train personnel of the Service in Forensic Fire Investigation.

The National Varietal Release and Registration Committee (NVRRC) of the Ministry of Agriculture has recommended five proposed varieties of cassava developed by the Department of Crop Science in collaboration with the Biotechnology and Nuclear Agricultural Research Institute (BNARI) of Ghana Atomic Energy Commission(GAEC).

Dr. Bempah , explained that the tablets were a formulation of vitamin B1, B2 and B5 capable of preventing complications affecting all organs in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients. Other ingredients of the tablets he mentioned were dicalcium phosphate, cellulose, silica, magnesium stearate.
